Profile Pages

This is the “Secret Service” department of Grant Advance – providing you inside information critical to understanding the foundations you will be approaching. Our information sleuths extract data from years of government filings and analyze that data to provide you with a Profile Page full of valuable insights on any foundation you consider approaching. The information we generate includes:

  • Giving Interests: the types of organizations they have funded in the past
  • Grant Size: the size of grant most likely to be approved
  • Contact Information: the person you should be connecting with
  • Financial Insights: the total assets, revenue, and the number and amount of grants they award each year
  • Graphs, Maps & Charts: visual representations of financial and geographical giving patterns.

Why is this important? Because foundations are not just organizations, they are people who care as deeply about causes as you do. And they care about relationships and partnering with the charities they choose to support. Imagine having to send out a Letter of Inquiry to a foundation addressed to “whom it may concern” and asking for a grant that is way more (or way less) than they historically award. On the other hand, imagine that you can reference in your letters their previous recipient partners, address your letter to a real person, and ask for an amount that fits with their history and culture. This speaks to them. It lets them know you have taken the time to get to know them and that you want to be in a meaningful partnership with them.

This is your best chance for the beginning of a beautiful relationship – built on communication, common interests, and mutual respect.
