I mean, one of our primary goals at our rescue is to create our own um spayneuter clinic, primarily a mobile clinic, a mash clinic. And at the time we knew that our budget for this particular project cost anywhere between $150 to $250,000. Now that we are able to use Grant Advance to find these really big funders that are most likely to give us money, in particular the $50,000 that we won.”

So, with the very first mailing that I produced with Grant Advance we were able to secure a $20,000 grant which more than paid for the Grant Advance subscription. We’re waiting on an answer from that same funder for this year. So if we are successful, we will have raised $42,000 so far just from that one funder. I’ve also secured an additional $20,000 grant from another funder this year and I haven’t really been using Grant Advance to its full potential. So every time that I’ve actually used it to you know send out communications to funders I’ve received back at least $20,000.”

My goal was simple: to create a system that helps every chapter find local small foundations they can actually connect with, whether that’s picking up the phone, making a personal visit or sending a strong letter of introduction with the end goal of having someone come out to participate in either a bed build or a bed delivery.
