Stephen’s Children Foundation is a Christian organization providing financial support to the existing and well developed Stephen’s Children ministries in Egypt’s garbage slums outside of Cairo. Our dedicated team instills a culture of hope by nurturing hearts, training minds, and teaching our families the strength of God’s love.
Mission & Values
At Stephen’s Children, we are deeply committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. But for children to learn, their souls, hearts and bodies must be nourished. Over the years, we have expanded our educational programming to also include good nutrition and medical care. We strive to create a stronger community with mentors that teach and show them love and respect for themselves and others. As a Christian ministry, we also provide them with teachings of our faith to help our children and their families feel God’s love and strength to live a life with purpose.
All of our programming helps children in Egypt’s most impoverished areas defy the odds and build a better future. In one year, we have been able to provide:
